10 Things That Evergreen Did For You in 2009

2009 was an exceptionally eventful year for many, especially for Evergreen and the mountain bike community. With decreased funding and an ambitious plan for the year, we found out quite soon that things were going to be tough. We’ve grown exponentially since receiving our nonprofit status back in 2003. With this growth came additional responsibilities and commitments and we’ve done our best to live up to these. We acknowledge the challenges that we face in many areas and thrive in our successes. As we brought 2009 to a close, I think that we all felt relieved to have made it through such a tough year. With new leadership it is with great excitement that we enter 2010. We have some great stuff planned for this year. From the grand opening of Duthie in March, to a major race in June, from expanding our education program to continuing to effectively advocate for the protection of and expansion of trails that we all hold dear… 2010 is looking pretty bright already.
